Hello everyone!
Today we are releasing to the public what was released only to our patrons before, here's the changelog!
Kalyskah version 0.14
Fixes
- Forcing inventory to close when the player enters a dialogue;
- Fixed Kalyskah not holding weapon properly after certain dialogues;
- Fixed some internal variables that were causing warnings on the log;
- Fixed dungeon lightmap build and meshes distance of field (The walls and floor shouldn't have that glitch that was making them turn black depending on the angle you were looking at them).
Enhancement
- Optimizations on the way we handle weapon collisions and trail effects;
- Target widget will now be attached to character mesh, which means that when you lock on a target, the camera will aim at their chest instead of a fixed place on their capsule component;
- Updated the game from Unreal Engine 4.25 to 4.26;
- Improved sky and clouds;
- Smoothed transitions from normal idle to covering eyes when taking sunlight damage;
- Fixed Kalyskah gravity during cutscenes and loading the game (When it's loading or when she's on a cutscene, gravity is set to 0 so she won't be falling silly under the ground).
Features
- New weather system: -Kalyskah will only take sunlight damage during sunny days or days where there aren't too many clouds in the sky; -If the player sleeps for more than 1 hour, it will automatically trigger a change in the weather; -The current weather should be transported between levels, which means that in the future if we add more worlds if Kalyskah moves from one place to another, the current weather will be saved, so immersion won't be broken; -Default season set to Spring, so there are more sunny days than rain and snow. In the future, we'll make the seasons change but for now, it's not necessary. The player can change the volume of the weather sound effects in the settings menu; -Player can change the volume of the weather (rain, thunder, etc) at the settings menu. It has its own category.
- In the open world, If for any reason the Kalyskah falls under the ground at the open world, Kalysakh will be teleported back to the starting graveyard.
- One of the branches of delivering the Heirloom Lost quest to the couple.
