[News] Hairstyles, Level Design, Shaders and Steam


Hello everyone, Corintio here!

We are adding two more hairstyles in case you'd like Kaly to have a shorter haircut and to be the storm is approaching!

These will be patched together with our fixes in Brooke's speech within the next few days. Afterwards, the other members of the team will keep pushing the optimizations and cutscenes forward, I'll be working on tweaks on the Slice of Unlife questline (adding a path that is missing on the conversation with Borden). And we are also wrapping up what needs to be done so we can open our Steam page this semester!





We are also making a lot of improvements to our shader. This might be a bit too technical for most people but we managed to reduce in over 500 the number of instructions on the materials. This means that when there are a lot of NPCs in the same room, the impact on the FPS should be much smaller than before.

Once we're done with this task, Henri will move to work on the NPC schedule so we can add more life not just to Kalyskah's temple, but also to the town of Tupelo once it gets released. In the meantime, Sergey and I are working on finishing cutscenes to move the story forward.

In the meantime, our level designer is working on the new town, called Tupelo!
